However, try turning the tables, and suddenly, they act personally offended by the betrayal. That is exactly what happened in a recent Instagram video, where a Corgi appeared to get even after his owner tried to hide from him outdoors.

The clip, posted by @abominableoatman, shows Otis, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, walking outdoors while his owner secretly hides nearby and films the moment. At first, Otis appears to continue forward as she scans the area, seemingly trying to figure out where she went.
For a brief moment, it looks like the game is working. But after a cut in the video, the dog suddenly changes direction and confidently heads the other way, almost as if he has decided he no longer wants to participate. The on-screen text reads, “Hiding from Otis was a mistake,” hinting that the owner quickly realized the game was backfiring.
What’s more, Otis carries himself with complete confidence as he walks away. His reaction gives the impression that he was intentionally “getting even” with his owner for trying to trick him in the first place. Meanwhile, the owner later admitted defeat in the caption, joking, “I won’t be trying that again.”
