One thing almost every dog loves to get is a hug from their paw parents. The cuddles make them feel loved. Moreover, it also fosters bonding, reduces their stress, and provides them with much-needed warmth. That is why pooches love their hug time with their parents. And this rescue pup is no different, as he loves to hug his dad, as shown in this adorable video, which is drawing a lot of attention. Due to the pup’s adorable actions, the clip has garnered more than 20K likes at the time of writing.
Rescue pup can’t get enough of owner’s hugs
This rescue pup named Cactus might be scared of many things, but he surely loves to hug his paw parent, Michael Henry. And to show how much the pet pooch loves this act, the dog dad uploaded a video on @cactustherescue as proof.
The clip shows Henry lying on the couch when he whistles and calls Cactus to come to him. And just like on cue, the pup rushes into the room to hug his owner. Watching his promptness, the dog dad shares an on-screen text, “Cactus clocking in for his shift at the cuddle factory.”
The happy pup instantly lies next to him on the couch, placing his head and paws on Henry’s chest. This leaves the dad smitten with the fur baby’s adorable stance and calling him a “good boy.”
Henry jokingly describes their session in the caption, “POV: You’re the supervisor at the Cuddle Factory and your most dedicated employee just clocked in.” He also talks about the pup’s adorable style of walking into the room, saying, “Cactus doesn’t walk to work. He sprints down the hallway like he’s late for a board meeting.”
Needless to say, Cactus’s wholesome moment with his dad impressed many online. One dog lover said, “He’s so incredibly sweet! He has this amazing energy that melts your heart.” Another follower mentioned, “He is so handsome and deserves every minute of those cuddles.” Yet another comment sums it up, “He’s so precious.”
